10. Tokyo Narita International Airport
Tokyo-based architecture firm Nikken Sekkei teamed up with Japanese creative laboratory Party and MUJI to build the new Terminal 3 at Narita International Airport. This new terminal is exclusively for low-cost carriers. The team focused on creating a low-cost airport in terms of architecture and interior design. The budget for the construction was approximately half the usual amount. Due to the costs, it was not possible to install the typical mobile passageways or illuminated signs. Instead, to provide an exciting easy walking experience, the designers have implemented running tracks used for athletics and added signs for friendly guidance.
9. Brisbane Airport
Brisbane Airport is the main international airport serving South East Queensland and Brisbane. This airport has won awards for its quality of service for ten consecutive years.
8. Carrasco International Airport
The new terminal was designed by Rafael Viñoly. It symbolizes a landmark for the country in terms of investment, architecture, technology and innovation.
7. Madrid-Barajas International Airport
The airport’s architecture highlights simplicity, adaptability, robustness and flexibility. The materials used in its construction are environmentally friendly and take advantage of the natural light.
6. Incheon International Airport
Incheon International Airport has a very futuristic and modern architecture, full of glass and natural light. You can find first-class amenities, including free showers, massage chairs, and sleeping areas. Not bad at all.
5. Denver International Airport
This airport is quite interesting. There are several conspiracy theories that have emerged about it over the years. Throughout the building there are several unusual designs, including a few that are said to be linked to Nazism. For example, the runways form a swastika-like shape. Another curious theory is that it is believed to contain a time capsule that can only be opened in 2094.

In 2016, Dubai International Airport was the busiest in the world. Dubai World Central International Airport is a dynamic and fast-growing airport that connects the world. It has a very futuristic architecture like everything else in Dubai.

Marrakech Menara Airport is known for its unique architecture. It was inspired by the classic Islamic geometric design and features motifs from nature inscribed into a beautiful network of giant concrete diamond shapes.
2. Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport
Located in the capital of Azerbaijan, this airport terminal was inspired by cocoons and designed by the turkish architecture studio Autoban. Light streams in through the concave external glass walls, and each cocoon houses cafes, bars and stores. You can see pretty diamond patterns on the atrium floors.

Singapore Changi Airport is considered the best and most luxurious airport in the world. The airport has won over 620 awards since its opening and it’s easy to understand why. The architecture is just stunning. There is even a butterfly garden and the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.
