Os lugares mais instagramáveis em Paris

If you ask me what are the most instagrammable places in Paris, I would say that it is the whole city. Seriously, the entire city is full of photogenic spots but there are a few classic ones that everyone would like to capture. The only problem is that most of the time you’ll have to deal with a huge crowd of tourists if you want to get a good photo. Let me share with you my Top 7 Most Instagrammable Places and some tips to avoid the crowds.

A Torre Eiffel

  • Trocadéro: the view from the Trocadéro is breathtaking. Here you can capture postcard-worthy photos of the Eiffel Tower. You’ll find many options: on the stairs, close to the fountains, sitting on the edge (be careful and very quick, the police told me to get out of there, I only got time to take three photos).
  • Rue de l’Université: the view from there is beautiful but this is a pretty popular place so don’t expect to be alone. You’re going to have to be patient. Patience is always the key. I confess I didn’t have much time so I chose to change the angle and photograph only the Eiffel Tower instead of photographing myself with the tower. There was a huge crowd behind me and I wasn’t enjoying the result.
  • Pont d’Iéna: I’ve heard about this location before and I was so excited to shoot there. Unfortunately, it was under construction when I was there so I didn’t got the shot. If you go down the stairs to Port Debilly, you’ll avoid the crowds.
Most instagrammable places in Paris: the Eiffel Tower

Arco do Triunfo

If you want to take a picture on the top of the Champs-Elysées, you’ll have to… Guess what? Be patient. That’s right! There is literally a queue to take photos. Lucky for me, I only had to wait about five minutes.

Louvre

Tuesday is national museum closing day in France so, once a week, the Louvre Museum is closed. If you’re planning to take photos outside without anyone around, this is the best time for that. As a result, you get perfect shots without anyone ruining your pictures. Feel free to check my Guia do Louvre.

Moulin Rouge

At the bottom of the hill at Place Blanche is the famous Moulin Rouge. If you want to take the perfect instagrammable photo, you’re gonna have to be patient because it’s usually super crowded. Also, be careful with the traffic.

Palais-Royal

Palais-Royal it’s located very close to the Louvre. Famous for its black and white columns, you’ve probably seen several pictures of “les colonnes de Buren” all over Instagram. You can also find a beautiful garden there.

NOTRE-DAME

If you want a picture of the cathedral without anyone around, go to Petit Pont – Cardinal Lustiger.
